Foreign Language & Area Studies (FLAS) Fellowships through the Institute for Regional and International Studies (IRIS) – Applications reviewed on a rolling basis until 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, May 5, 2019.

The IRIS National Resource Center has opened a second FLAS competition for Summer 2019. Because the initial application has closed, you will need to do the following to submit an application:
- Go to the FLAS website (https://flas.wisc.edu/) and click on “Applicants can check on the status of their application here.”
- Log in as either a UW-Madison user or a non UW-Madison user to create a new application.
- Select the following competition: “IRIS Summer 2019 Supplemental” and complete the application process.

WISLI Tuition Scholarships through the Wisconsin Intensive Summer Language Institutes (WISLI) – Applications due by 11:59 p.m. on Monday, April 1, 2019.

Anyone who is applying to a WISLI summer language institute is eligible to apply for a WISLI Tuition Scholarship. Note: the WISLI Tuition Scholarship only covers the tuition and segregated fees, but does not include other expenses such as housing. See the website for details and application instructions.
