STARTALK Critical Language Assessment Program (CLAP)

The Second Language Studies program at Michigan State University is pleased to offer a free online workshop on foreign language assessment and assessment tool development. The workshop runs from June 7 – June 30th, with follow-up components during the academic school year (see schedule below). By the end of the program, teacher participants will be able to identify best practices in foreign language assessment as well as design and share their own customized assessment instruments for their classrooms.

CLAP is open to teachers of Arabic (as well as Russian) who will be teaching in U.S. middle schools (6th grade or above), high schools, community colleges, colleges, or universities during the 2021-2022 academic year.
