Intermediate Persian Summer 2023 Instructor Pedram Aghaalikhani brought a MEDLI soccer tradition to his home department at Indiana University! He named it “Slavic Soccer,” and his department loves it with the Slavic Departmental News stating, “Slavic Soccer has successfully cultivated an atmosphere where individuals from diverse backgrounds can connect, share their love for soccer, and celebrate the rich traditions of Slavic cultures. The event has not only fostered physical activity and teamwork but also provides a platform for cultural exchange and social interactions.”
